Pros of AAC's 55 Grain Sabre Blade Black Tip Ammunition:
1. Inexpensive Yet Reliable:
The AAC Sabre Blade Black Tip Ammunition proves that quality doesn't have to come with a hefty price tag. Despite its affordability, this ammunition maintains impressive reliability, ensuring consistent performance with every shot.
2. Remarkable Accuracy:
Accuracy is paramount for any shooter, and AAC's ammunition delivers. Whether engaging targets on the range or hunting in the field, the Sabre Blade Black Tip consistently hits the mark, instilling confidence in its users. I very much look forward to hitting the woods this coming fall with my 308 and 150gr AAC Sabre Blade Black Tip.
3. Versatile Performance:
From plinking to competitive shooting, AAC's ammunition excels in a variety of applications. Its versatility makes it a go-to choice for shooters with diverse needs and preferences. I'd love to see them continue to expand the line to additional popular calibers. Given the accuracy, focusing on longe range cartridges would be an ideal use of their ability to make accurate ammo.
55gr Grouping at 100 yards, well sub MOA. Not bad for a 8x optic.
Cons:
1. Limited Availability:
It's really hard to find cons to talk about, if I had to though, my only complaint would be availability. While AAC's ammunition offers exceptional performance, it may be challenging to find. To my knowledge it is only sold through Palmetto State Armory and comes in and out of stock on a daily basis. They are doing fantastic work and purposely focusing on the civilian market so do not think this is a complaint. Tip of the cap to PSA on this one. I would just say that when you see in stock, stock up on it!
I prefer 10 round Pmags for the range and for hunting as well.
Personal Experience
As an avid shooter, I've had the pleasure of pairing AAC's Sabre Blade Black Tip Ammunition with the Radical Firearms 5.56 16" RPR. The combination of the precision-engineered rifle and reliable ammunition has resulted in an exceptional shooting experience. Whether engaging steel targets at the range or stalking game in the field, this setup has consistently delivered impressive results.
Notably, the AAC ammunition's affordability has allowed me to enjoy extended range sessions without breaking the bank. Its consistent accuracy and reliability have instilled confidence in every shot, making it a staple in my arsenal. Whether I'm honing my marksmanship skills or putting meat on the table, AAC's Sabre Blade Black Tip Ammunition remains my top choice.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the pairing of AAC's 55 Grain Sabre Blade Black Tip Ammunition with the Radical Firearms 5.56 16" RPR offers a winning combination of affordability, accuracy, and reliability. While availability may be limited from time to time, the performance and versatility of this ammunition make it well worth the effort to source. Whether you're a seasoned marksman or a novice shooter, this dynamic duo is sure to impress with its consistent performance and budget-friendly price point. If I am able to casual punch sub MOA with a $400 rifle and the cheapest ammunition on the market, you can too!
