VWR Red Vacuum Rubber Tubing 50" Coil Length. It is inserted between glass valves with a vacuum manifold to provide a complete seal. The vacuum increases as the vacuum is removed until the entire sample volume has been exhausted. Red vacuum rubber tubing is easily identified by its distinctive patented color change. The vacuum rubber tubing is easily ruptured by hand without heat or flame. It is used in mechanical rotary evaporators vacuum pumps DNA and RNA vats and for many other applications.
