The Faxon Match Series Gunner 5R Rifled Barrel is manufactured 100% in-house from cradle-to-grave. The barrel is machined from gun-barrel quality bar-stock steel with black nitride coating for added durability and longevity. The extension is coated in Nickel Teflon which maintains incredibly dry lubricity, corrosion resistance, and works to tighten the fit between the extension and receiver - which improves the accuracy as well. The 5R is a hybrid rifling, with opposite groove lands (cut ridges)
