NORINCO NHM-91

The NORINCO NHM-91 is a Chinese semi-automatic rifle, imported to the U.S. in the early 1990s as a sporting variant of the Type 56/RPK light machine gun. It features a 21-inch heavy barrel, a 1.5mm thick stamped receiver, and a thumbhole stock to comply with the 1989 import ban, serving as a rare, heavy-barreled AK platform.
