The Taurus Model 85 (including FS - Fixed Sight variants) is a 5-shot, .38 Special snub-nosed revolver produced from 1968 to 2017. Renowned as an affordable, compact, and reliable concealed carry firearm, it is similar to the Smith & Wesson J-frame. The series was later replaced by the 6-shot Model 856.
