Using a new US barrel and US 1.5mm reinforced receiver, they are built to provide years of service and are rock solid. The M72 was originally a gas-operated, air-cooled, drum and magazine-fed light machine gun, manufactured by Zastava Arms of Yugoslavia (Serbia). It fires the 7.62A-39mm M43 round..
