The rail allows the user to decide where their scope will be mounted since there are numerous slots, and it will accept both Picatinny and Weaver-style rings. Notes:Some models are not drilled and tapped from the factory. If that is the case, you would need to have your receiver drilled and tapped before installing our mount.
