Glas-Col Hemispherical Mantles Series O Glas-Col 0 Silicone-Impregnated Glass Fabric Exterior. Constructed of quartz fabric not a fibrous material the exterior surface of this Lab Apparatus from Glas-Col has a uniform impregnation of viscous silicone oil. This provides an even more complete impregnation and therefore greater chemical compatibility than the widely used borosilicate glass. Glas Col Hemispherical Flask Mantles can withstand extremely high heat (towards 450 C or 840 F) without damag
